im going next week to have my LT's, o/r x, and slp 2 catback put on, anyone have an idea of what power and torque improvement this will show on a stock mach? and would a cai compliment this or would it be a waste of $?
thanx in advance

pipes like that will be worth 15-25hp. Add the CAI! I'd go with a K&N, I've seen the best results with those (often 5-10hp). On most cars the cai is a waste but on the Mach's it seems to be a real matter of concern. Get a tune. You need one now. You're probably going to show pig rich at WOT.

Full Bolt-on Machs will make around 325 to 330rwhp. Torque should be around the same.

Thats with full exhaust, tune, and an intake. You'll probably see around 315ish to the ground. IMO i'd go with a JLT. Both the cold air and ram air style for the machs work just as good.

I bet you put down 315-320rwhp and 340rwtq.....Yes, get a CAI...they are worth some power. I have the K&N on my mach and I think the performance is great, but they seem to cause stalling issues. For some reason when you come to a hard stop the car wants to stall. LOTS of mach owners have complained about this. Not sure why it happens every now and again, but do a search on the mach 1 registry forums and you'll find several threads discussing this issue. JLT makes some nice stuff.

Yes, get a tune immediately after having your stuff installed. I added a CAI, mid pipe, and cat back to my car and took it directly to the dyno and good thing I did because my A/F ratio was almost 14.1 if I remember right. You can get away with adding two components that bring it more air (catback, and CAI), but after that your A/F will go way wacky. Mach engines are pretty sensitive
