5.4L of fury. W00t!

YoshiBluedevil 11-20-2006 08:29 PM

someone made a good point though ... how long will the engine hold that much power?

r3dn3ck 11-20-2006 08:57 PM

depends on how you treat it. Beat it constantly and it'll die. Kind of like smoking... the more you stoke the fires the quicker you die. 19psi is a little high for pump gas but hey... whatever gets you off right.

well its a very well built motor... i presume that the bottem end is forged,

If its maintained properly... I don't see why it wouldn't last as long as the stock motor...

I could most definately be wrong though... I don't know much about new tech and power adders... lol

I've written to Santa for this setup. 810 hp is both naughty and nice!

I know of a terminator motor that had a whipple blower set at 19 psi and pushed out 650-700RWHP for about 1.5 years.

Then upgraded to TT set up and is currently over 900 RWHP. Just like that Shelby, it's all stock except for catback and clutch. It's been running for over 2.5 years.

EDIT: And it's the driver's Daily Driver!

yeah, but a turbo u can turn down the boost as quickly as you want with a boost controller... i doubt he drives with 900rwhp every day ... just with the POTENTIAL of getting 900rwhp every day. my bet is he has it turned into the 600-700's for dialy driving. granted, that is still a lot, but still lol.

im just amazed that its 810/745 crank power on stock injectors, rails, lines, pump, etc. thats AMAZING; and yet scary at the same time lol. think of all of the potentail spoiled 16 year olds who are going wrap daddys car around a pole :shakeno:

i wonder what kind of 1/4 mile times that would pull, without drag tires or suspension work...

probably horrable times.....it would never hook up. All you would see is smoke!

YoshiBluedevil 11-21-2006 02:37 PM

lol exactly... but i bet even with drags it would be spinning through second lol

my uncles 04 mystichrome put 669/585 at the wheels, and it spins through first and second unless the tires are heated up lol. those M/T ET Streets are AMAZING when they are heated up :worship2:

Friend has over 900RWHP on his TT 04 Cobra. Stock everything except for catback and clutch. The best I've heard it do is 11.43 at 134MPH on 315/40/17 DR's.

YoshiBluedevil 11-21-2006 03:02 PM

thats a crappy time...11.43 at 134
It should be able to get into the 10's...I would think...

YoshiBluedevil 11-21-2006 04:49 PM

eh, 4th is only a 1:1 gear, thats easy! lol
