It not how much power you make....its how you use the power you have.

Adam I have watched the progress of your car over the past few years....you gave me something to shoot for, and if I fix my damn trans I might be able to dyno/run it and see how it compares.

Deans car too!

MattJ 04-14-2005 09:03 PM

you make 12.90 runs with exactly that setup?
:notworthy

nice runs for the power.

And i thought you had gears? maybe i am confused. either way good runs.

Blue02GT 04-26-2005 07:38 PM

He has 4.10's and has added a PA k member and coil over set up since last fall.
With good air he can easily run 12.7's.
I sent him my 02 valve body and he j modded it, his shifts were really slow. With a plenum and TB and long tubes I could see him running 12.5's by Fall.
Adam's car is an excellent example of using what you have power wise. He has put alot of thought into most of his mod's (don't ask him about his pro M maf). He and I have had a running competition going since last summer trying to get our slow slush boxes to respectable running cars. I've got him by a tenth right now but as soon as he runs in decent conditions he'll be back in the lead. I guess I need to spend more money.

Yes I have 4:10's, and a 3800PI converter. But I put down what makes power, not ET mods. People get way too hung up on dyno numbers. I believe the car has at least 12.80's in it. I ran a 12.96(600DA) in Michigan deep staging (there is a tenth) and bringing the rpms up on the converter, which is also an ET killer.

WOW!! those are really good #s for the power output! does your car have alot of weight reduction?

Blue02GT 05-19-2005 07:31 PM

I think he was 3,300 lbs. at Michigan with him in it.

ModMotorRacer 05-19-2005 08:03 PM

3262 with me in it with about 2-3 gallons of gas in it. Thats with a full interior(RSD)

Fat Lard 03-01-2006 07:39 AM

The car is badass and the numbers are better. Good job.
