New Best at the track

Ran the car at the track the other night and got a new best. Could have been much better if I did not shift early into 4th on the run with the wicked 60' The SS I ran had to run me down on the top end and he runs 12.0-12.1 on juice.

60' ____ 1.454 ____ 1.843 ____ 1.852 ____ 1.848
330 ____ 4.919 ____ 5.303 ____ 5.335 ____ 5.351
1/8 ____ 7.785 ____ 8.150 ____ 8.211 ____ 8.228
mph ____ 86.58 ____ 86.93 ____ 86.14 ____ 86.15
1000 __ 10.219 ____ 10.578 ___ 10.653 ____ 10.671
1/4 ___ 12.686 ____ 12.63 ____ 12.762 ____ 12.744
mph __ 109.38 ____ 109.44 ____ 108.85 ____ 108.80

Track Prep.. They had a big clean up so they went and reprepped the entire track... The guy on the line told my friend that it was going to hook like crazy so he ran and when he came back around he said what happened and so he upped the rpms a little and still bogged.. Did not think it would hook that well.

So me I went to the line and nailed the gas.. I still had a slight bit of a bog to it.. but dead hooked.. The SS I ran was in the rear view to the 1000 foot mark where he finaly passed me He ran a 12.0 or 12.1 on the juice.. I wish I would have been able to ice the car down for that run.

The 12.63 run was the last of the night and was able to ice it down.. But bogged on the launch. I still need to get more runs on the DRs.. I'm still bogging, but I'm afraid to slip the stock clutch. I should have 1.7x 60's all day long on the MT 275 DR's

Once I get some 4.10 gears will have much better times as the 26" DR is to short for the stock 3.55's. 3rd gears tops out before the 1/4th mark and 4th gear is not really in the powerband enough to be worth the added shift.
