thats not a "new" Si, its like an 04 and back, with the 1.6L 160 hp 0tq motor lol. plus, he lost more tq with a CAI and exhaust.

My sixer kills those and the newer ones on the highway, where everyone has an advantage on the v6 stang lol. Don't even talk about from a dig. But the two door si's before the body style in this vid aren't slouches especially with some mods.

posting a vid of a slow si like that is a waste of time, they only have 153hp at the wheels!! the NEW '06 si's will run side by side with a stock gt! I've watched one with a girl driving it run 9.2's in the 1/8 non stop and it had 30day tags!! My buddy and I are tuning on his Civic HB tommorow evening and maybe if it's not a 4am thing again i'll post some vids of it out on the street.....who says 600FWhp isnt much?? 6.90's in the 1/8 just on wastegate 17psi.

??? I beat an 06 Si. So that must mean I'm faster then a GT? Something was wrong there. and 9.2 in the 1/8, no GT should be running in the 9's with a decent driver.

Cuban, are you sure it was an Si? you can do factory upgrades and have a LX or EX that looks identical to the Si but under the hood they are different. Either that or the kid didnt know how to drive it! I've seen countless STOCK mustangs running 9.0-9.4's. When i say stock i mean everything as it comes from the factory.

No it was an Si. I was not impressed ever since they went to the stupid hatch back and now this body style the si has been on a downward slope. Remember the two door coupe si's? Those were the fasts ones yet that I have seen in real life. As far as stock GT's go all the GT's in my club run around 8.9-9.0 I haven't seen an 1/8 that high from a GT yet from a good driver atleast...

You are right about the looks the 99-00 was the best looking, but power wise, hands down the '06 will stomp the 99-00's. #1 the 99-00's had a 160hp b16a which yea at the time was a good setup rather than the little SOHC the others came with, now they have the powerhouse k20a, which is nasty when modded properly and tuned. Where any of the mustangs in your club on a regular radial or a drag tire? I went 9.0 on motor and with just exhaust and tire.

I remember going to the track awhile back and a civic just like that asked my friend to race, and he had a 04V6 with drop in K&N, his stang ran high 15's and the civic ran high 17's....and when he asked, he asked like it was going to be something fast......what a f@g.

Also heading to the track to see what kind of better times me and twin turbo 330 can get.....we'll post the outcome....

That wasnt the new SI, that was the 02-04 SI, those where slower stock than the 99-00 SIs where. The 02-04 where high 15 low 16 cars.

You didnt beat the SI, you beat the driver. The 06 SI should be able to beat a V6 stang quite easily. Its considerably lighter and has more hp. A stock 04 V6 stang is what 15.0 - 15.5 range right? A well driven 06 SI should be in the high 14s with ease.

Yea I ran a new 06 civic Si and it was pretty much door to door with me maybe pulling a fender. It was only like a 2nd gear race so it wasnt much, but the civic was still fast. He said it had intake, full exhaust, tuning, and nitrous. He wasnt spraying and I wasnt either. I asked him what size shot he had, and he said 50hp. I told him I had a 100 shot on mine and he stopped smiling for some odd reason.....:beerchug:
