An 01 GT 5spd with 11k in mods is gonna be faster than that $22,500 Mach. |
Yeah i didn't read the whole thread when i responded. But For brand new $22,500 is cheap for a Mach.
Yeah putting that extra $10000 in your car will definitely have you beating Machs but if they do the same then your screwed. I'm in the same boat though so don't feel bad. I love my GT too especially since it is paid off now. |
I've had some close calls with some modded Machs but i'm running a 12.5. I had one that tore me a new one on the highway the other day just couldnt hang

Yeah, Cali people pretty much get screwed on the price of everything because there is no way in hell you could find one for that price out here....I don't think anyway....If I was smart I would have got a brand new one instead of my 03 vert...they were about the same price.

Im pretty sure the Mach is basically just a pre-sc cobra. since they SCd the cobra in 03, im guessing they wanted a reason to sell an NA 4v mustang, so they made a shaker hood and called it a Mach I. I didn't realize they were straight axle, but thats definately a good thing. Just let me say, i drove my friends 01 cobra vert, and it wasnt squat compared to my car, no mid range power, or bottom end tq. on the other hand, when i was driving my uncles stock 03 cobra for a few months, there was no range without power, and yet all i could do was whine. (bad joke, bad joke) :bash:
