and wnracing i feel your avatar, i got screwed this holiday this months income for me is gonna be a bit over 500 bucks outta 2gs cuz my company is ran buy a bunch of joos. and i have to use that to pay for spring classes so no gifts to any one from me.

Well, man That really sucks. So far this Christmas... My Mom is sueing my dad, for many reasons.. My family was doing great, and now it's getting ripped apart again. My Dad isn't even going to have 'christmas' he is going to his wifes families house, and my mom is pretty much doing the same. I still don't have a freaking job. Im going nuts, I want to work so bad, but Sprint is taking their dear sweet time with my Background check. And im sure there is more to come.. Hell last christmas my clutch blew out in my car on my way to my g/f's house, then got a ticket driving my moms truck.. Seems like this is a bad season for me.. :shakeno:

ok well..I hope that someome makes an awesome SIG for her. I wont be winning or trying to win , as, I aint about to pay $50 for photoshop software in order to make a sig. This contest is unfair. Only a limited amount of users benefit from this sig making idea.

As for this contest being fair? I think it's plenty fair. You're working on the assumption that I'm going to choose one that's done by someone with photoshop skills. And okay, I might. But I also might choose one done in Paint, with stick figures. Because it's creative and fun and at least they TRIED.

You can't say it's unfair if you never even try...

true.. I think most people are upset because the prize is pretty friggin sweet and they're scared because there's several members on here who can make these damn sigs at a pro level, lol. but like she said, creativity will mean a lot. For those of you with no skills at all and don't wanna try, this is probably the first of a few contests to come.

I have photoshop, but NEVER use it. You always see me posting asking people to make sigs or banners for me. But I actually tried this time and I think I put together a decent one.

I didnt make the sig Ive got now.

You see, that is just it. You haven't used PS much, but you atleast attempted a Sig. That is exactly what she is trying to tell the people that are upset about the contest to do.

I could honestly say "this isn't fair because she isn't judging based on how nice and professional it is." I think the bottom line is that those who are upset about it should have given their input on what kind of contest to do when the talk started in the first place.. :2cents:

I make quality not quantity. I like doing authentic AM stuff plus I stole some of Shambles collection(thanks buddy). I had some Soxs photos on my HD I thought i'd use Wally being one of them.

Please see the few posts where people actually UNDERSTAND that this not necessarily about being a graphic designer. It's about having fun and being creative.

Sheesh. I'm starting to re-think the whole idea of contests. Doesn't seem like anyone will ever be happy.

i already am disqualified. im on a 400mhz laptop with no image editing software, and dont have the ram to run any or edit it. i also have no mouse so my movement with the mousepad will look like a 3 year olds drawing. you DO HAVE to have some sort of comprehention of image editing software because, lets face it, you arent winning this contest with ms paint.

of course im not happy with this, after all, it was MY idea to get another contest running. who wants to be excluded from the contest they helped get up and running? I sure dont, and thats the case. it was always equal among members so everyone can participate and its pretty clear im out of this one as well with other members. no one complained about the other ones...

I know you arent looking for perfection but im pretty sure the guy who wins the contest isnt going to hand-draw your entire signature in MS Paint even if its the funniest signature posted.

The whole point of previous contests were that they were 100% equal across the board and everyone was elidgible who met basic requirements, and I feel as if this contests goes against that.

That was a raffle, not a contest. lol.

Well, my suggestion, then, is to make a suggestion the next time I ask for input.

For the record, you have NO idea who I will choose to win. I happen to like the handdrawn MS Paint signatures I've gotten.
