Which Bumper Inserts should i get?

i dont know which bumper inserts i should get for my 1999 V6 Mustang. my stang is silver, not the dark silver, but a lighter silver, like this mustang. http://www.lisashea.com/hobbies/auto/01stang.jpg

so what bumper inserts will look good. i dont think the stailnless steel ones will because my car is silver. so i was leaning twords these ones. http://www.mustangtuning.com/mublrebuinle.html

what do you think?

I think those are perfect...I have a mineral grey 02 GT so i went with the Stainless steel inserts...they are pretty easy to install but after a little while the adhesive stuff got a little dried out and i had to dab a bit of superglue behinde the insert but it looks perfect...anyway the Black will look awesome on your stang

The black will look cool. I have a Mineral Grey 02 GT so I got the Stainless Steel inserts...I think the black will look pretty cool on a silver stang

Those are pretty damn cool. I have just the plain black insert on my silver stang and I think it looks good, but I'm thinking about getting the black reflective also. If you get them post a picture so we can see what it looks like on your stang.

i ordered the black refelectives, so i should hopefully get them by the end of the week. and i will try to ost some pick, when i do install them. but usually my digital camera and my computer dont mix., but i will try.

Get the Black ones, I had mine on for about 6 years just took them off recently since they were cracking. Seeing how much I paid and how long they lasted it was a good buy.

DEF get the black ones. There is a local mustang with the same color as yours and they look great on his.

Lamar 05-12-2005 08:35 AM

None! ;) I like sleeper look! heheh but black looks great too! go black!

01ARM 05-12-2005 10:39 AM

Or you could get the SS inserts, looks pretty tight on a silver.

Beer_farts 05-12-2005 01:07 PM

I would definately go with black on a silver car

I have the reflective ones and they are already coming off after 2 months.

venom 05-17-2005 01:47 PM

Did you prep the area with wax remover or alcohol.

Ghostalker 05-17-2005 02:30 PM

lol, yeah 2 months is alittle extreme, my brothers were on his for roughly a year, then one of his friends smacked into his car whilst he was parked... so the kid paid for a new bumper, paint (paint matched flawlessly) AND new bumper inserts lol. I have had my bumper inserts on for nearly a year now, and they arent extremely good quality (ebay, only because they are the only place ive found with a 'brushed aluminum' vinyl pattern), but we prepped well, and i am goign to remove them in favor off SS ones... Think it would look hawt on the dark greenish blue... :happy9:
