Centercap Issues

4 Attachment(s)
Is anyone else having this problem with their centercaps? It seems as if they don't seal right and water gets behind them, causing the silver areas to turn a blackish color. For some reason, it is a lot more noticeable in real life than it is in the pictures. The wheels have only been through 2 washes (in 1 week :D), and they have been waxed and taken care of. I already called MT, and they are sending me 4 new centercaps, so I was wondering if anyone knew how to prevent this?

that sucks. hopefully that doesent continue.
I'd reccommend getting some silicone and putting a fine layer around the outsiide to prevent that from happening. i'd be worried if that happened on all 4 vs just 1 or 2. definatly... silicone

the only MT centercap i have is a single M cap from the replacement DD i bought. so.. dunno....
