Headlights

Hello I purchased a set of projector headlights for my sons 99 gt in Oct. They are fogging up and filled with water what is the warranty on these? I have called numerous times and left numerous messages, emailed and no response. Am I on my own with these 369$ headlights?

When those lights are made sometimes they are not sealed completely from factory. These lights have never come with a warranty, however, if you follow our procedure it should clear the light out completely. Using a high temp RTV sealant should also fix that problem.

Now if water is actually STREAMING into the light, thats another story.

Now that would be an issue

Shoot me a PM or an e-mail with your order number/ last name. I can get this to Josh and have him take a look into a return on this...

Bob

Bob emailed me and said warranty info is here :

It basically says no warranty on headlights for fogging. Which makes me believe its a regular occurance. Im not sure if its water fogging or clouding of the pastic itself. So I guessfor $369 i have nice foggy water filled lights. After numerous phone messages and emails the only response has been on here. I've come to the conclusion customer service doesnt exist . I bet if I was ordering something new someone would call back. So im left to play Suzy homemaker and play with them in the oven.

For RMA's I have a little more pull than Bob.

Im just trying to clarify here, is it just fogging/condensation, or is it actually water breaking past the seal and streaming in?

Water

I think the seal is bad on one of them, They both fog up when it gets cool at night. But the other day it finally reached 80 deg and the right headlight had streams of water running down inside. I have taken the bulds out of this one before ,and blew into it with a hair dryer it seemed completely dry at that time. The next week after it rained alot there was alot of water in it. So im thinking it leaks on the seal. I cant find the reciept of course. Ill have to look at my credit card info to see if it has the order number. These lights always had a little bit of fog in them from day one, but now the right one is really bad when it rains. If you think the oven thing and resealing will work ill give it a try. Im just annoyed that no one answers the phone or calls back.Im not being cheap in the past yr Ive spent a few grand with you guys im sure this could have been cleared up with one phone call.
