I just joined this forum and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice
 

I have a 1993 mustang Gt. When i slowly accelerate the car does fine but when ever i get on it, it is almost as if someone is turning the car on and off it accelerates then it will stop accelerating then turn back on and it will just keep doing that until i let off of it. i think it is something with the fuel injection, maybe there is not enough gas getting to the engine i don't know i was wondering if anyone had some input.

wow, that sounds serious. i bet its the exhaust coil connected to the transmission. thats my best guess. or maybe its the U joint? or the drive shaft. could be serious.....

I used to have a formula 350 firebird like that, If it was really low on gas it would do the same thing.

yeah thats when it will do it when it is about below half a tannk it will start doing that really bad but when it is full it will do fine did you find out what the problem was?

check to see what the fuel pressure is at the injections and see if you are getting anuf for the car. if not the pump or regulator my be going out

yeah i just replaced the fuel filter and that did not help any but it couldn't have hurt but i was wondering now it is doing the same thing even when it is has a full gas tank. When ever i accelerate normally it does fine but whenever i floor it or get on it pretty good it starts bogging down really hard. then it will start accelerating again. the rpms just drop or jump up and then drop aand the check engine light comes on.

a friend of mine has a 90 GT, it did the same thing we put new plugs and wires and it fixed it(his plugs were pretty noticably bad just to look at).he didnt say anything about the amount of fuel he had and it would run fine goin slow.
