What did you replace?

I Replaced The Whole Rear.. All I Had To Do Was Unbolt Mine And Bolt The New One In. I Figured It Out When I Bought The Guy Told Me Not To Put The Quad Shocks In And I Did Anyway Because I Was Afraid Of Ride Quality And All, Well I Asked Him And He Told Me To Take Them Back out Because They Wont Effect Anything They Will Let The Rear Lower Itself So Im Gonna Do That And See What Happens??

The quads just help with wheel hop but chances are they are worn out by now and are not doing anything. Good test is to compress it and see if it rebounds back. You have to unbolt the bolt thats on the alxe to test it. I just helped my brother install springs on his 01 50k miles and the quads were shot. If you have new springs or isolators then it should settle down. I have yet to replace a rear end but do you have the same springs? If yes did you make sure that the pig tail is facing the left side if you are standing behind the rear end.

I am pretty sure they are worn by now they dont look like they are in good shape, i also have 4 new springs and shocks to put in, but i wasnt sure how bad the wheel hop would be without the quads i want to take them out to lower the rear, but im not exactly sure how taking the quads out will lower the rear? and the rear does feel a little bouncey when i drive it, any ideas what that could be?? please get back thanks for the help!

Did you have the upper and lower control arms out? If you did you need to tighten the control arm bolts only when there is weight on the suspension. If you tighten them with the axle hanging they will bind when you lower the car, this could cause the high ride height. You might want to try loosening the control arm mounting bolts while it is sitting on the ground then bounce the rear a few times before retightening the bolts. Good luck, hope this helps!

Springs take about a week or two to settle down. Try to load a couple of people and drive around bumpy roads to speed it up a bit.
