I have a 1991 mustang and I want to upgrade my stock cylinder heads. I am sold on trick flows heads but confused on numbers on the heads and price. I would like to stay under 1000 dollars. What would be the major hp differences between a 500 heads and 1000 heads? What would be worth to buy?

Do you have a certain TrickFlow head in mind? Keep in mind, for a price difference like that, the difference may be whether the head is assembled or not. It also might be the difference between as-cast or ported.

 

1000 heads would be a worthy one to buy up as it works well
