my 90 gt won't start?
 
my 90 gt 5.0 stop running and i sprayed some starting fuild and it started.
so i replace the fule pump and fule filter and now it still won't start because now there no fire to the distriberter.

can somebody help me?:eek:

Number one, are you sure the pump is getting power to begin with? Did you hear relays clicking and the pump running when you turned the key on? If not, check the EEC power relay then the fuel pump relay.

If so, is the fuel pump definitely running when you crank the engine. Crank it and let off the key. If you don't here it run for a second afterwards, it's a bad ignition module or stator inside the distributor. Either one will cause the same symptoms, but most of the time its the distributor mounted module that has died. That's why it was remotely mounted in '94 leaving the stator to die most of the times in those cars.

I HAVE A 95 gT
 
I DID SAME THING SPRAYED AND IT STARTED I TESTED THE CONNECTOR THAT GOES IN TO THE FUEL PUMP AND NO POWER I TRYED TO SEE IF I HAD INJECTOR PULSE AND I DONT. ALSO WHEN I SWEITCHED RELAYS IT STARTED FOR LIKE 3 OR 4 MINS AND THEN SHUT OFF. I JUST GOT THE CAR THE OTHER DAY AND WHEN I GOT IT YOU HAVE TO USE A SCREW DRIVER TO START I HAVE NEW ONE TO PUT IN AND SOME WIRES WHERE CUN BUT I PUT THE WIRES BACK TOGEATHER I HAVE ALL THE WIRE DIAGRAMS FOR THE CAR OFF ALL DATA JUST WANT TO SEE WHAT ANYONE THOUGHT I COULD LOOK AT

I went through all those steps also mine was the distributor when i had the cap off i wigled the shaft and it wobbled the bearing was bad got a rebuild fired right up:t:
