Heating

I just replaced my stock distributer cap with a MSD cap, stock wires with MSD super conducter wires and spark plugs with NGK V-power UR55 spark plugs gaped to .52 in my 94' GT. The car ran fine before I did this but now it seems to run hot, when I get on it the temp goes up quite a bit, still in the normal range, but much higher then what its normall at (in the middle). Then once I get off it slowly drops to the lower end of the normal range before climbing back up. Are my spark plugs gapped wrong or are they the wrong heat range, whats up with this?

check your cooling system. I'm not sure plugs would cause that, but I don't know everything. Check your coolant level, look for leaks, t-stat, and water pump - in that order.

a hoter burn will warm up the motor a little bit but it shouldnt be that noticable. try running some radiator flush and see if that helps.
