im new at this so bare with me please... i have a 91 notch 5 speed.. the motor is stock internally... i have a edlebrock rpm 2 upper and lower intake, 70mm throttle body and egr spacer... and 30 lb. injectors and maf to match, and long tube headers and 3 in x pipe and dumps. my ? is r these injectors to big? the car is a little sluggish... they r stock heads and cam... if they r what size injectors and maf should i use? thanks for the help:help:

i would step down to 24s, being that that its basically a stock car and doesnt require that much fuel. 24s are alittle bigger than the stock 19s and will perform better in yoour application.

thats alot of injector but if you get an AFPR you can turn the pressure down and it will fix that up for you. Your main problem is stock cam and heads. You need to next get those two done.

thanks everyone!!!!! i will try the injectors... or pick up a set of gt40 heads... u all have been a great help....:worship2:

You have major exhaust with LT/3" into dumps, I would think that might be overkill for stock heads and cam. Gt40s are a nice upgrade, but I would get them worked over a little before putting them in, once you pay for the work it's almost as expensive as buying a set of aluminium heads that are built to perform out of the box (like edelbrock or trick flow)

screw the gt40's go AFR 165 if yah got the money. also if yer set on the gt40's i think those cam stock on the explorer eddie baure ed.? so hit the junk yard.
