new mustang owner...have some questions
 

I just bought a 94 mustang that was an original v6 car. The previous owner decided he wanted to put a 302 in it...but he ran out of time/ interest and sold it to me for $1300. Its a 5 speed car and has a 373 LSD rear end in it.

The engine block is in the car, but I still need the upper&lower intake, throttle body, MAF, and intake (I will probably just buy a cold air intake kit on ebay)

I was told the 302 is out of a 92 mustang....so I guess I need the wiring and computer for a 92 302. Can anyone tell me what other years for the wiring harness and computer will work? or as long as everything (computer, wiring, TB etc) is of the same year and to a 302 will they work?

I'm lost as far as exhaust goes too....I want something loud, but also want good performance out of it. Right now the car has the exhaust coming out the sides before the rear tires (which Im going to do away with).

I think I want to go with shorty headers, x-pipe...and then I dont know what brand of muffler to get. Any recommendations?

You should be able to use the wiring harnes and computer from any 5.0 equipped Stang from 89-95. Bear in mind that you're going to need an intake manifold designed for a 94 or 95 5.0 or use an "adapter elbow" for any other.

I have first hand experience with Flowmaster, Borla and SLP exhausts. Performance doesn't vary a whole lot between them, but the sound is distinctly different with each. I'm running SLP Loudmouth 1 on both my 93 5.0 and my wife's 96 Cobra. It sounds badass on both, but especially the 5.0.
