Air Problem

Car is a 93 GT all stock motor with a vortech SC
whenever I hit boost if I dont stay on the gas the throttle body shuts and in return my car dies IE Pushing the clutch and keeping it in. First question is why does it do this? Second is can I put a 75mm on a stock 93 gt motor?

Dan

also can I put a blow off valve on a non-intercoolered SC?

um... sounds like its starving for fuel... so something fuel related is the cause...

I'm lost on what yer sayin bout the clutch:confused:

more details please... when did this start? did you change something or put some new part/s on ?

about the clutch would be, If I go into boost and just back off like pushing in the clutch it will die. I know it dumps fuel but I believe it the throttle plate closing cause I slightly rev it, it will no longer die

maybe randy can help...

try a few other forums too...

It sounds like a fuel problem to me... I don't know how the butterfly could close like that... I really suggest you check your injectors, fuel fitler, fuel Pressure regulator, pump etc etc...

sounds like it's going pig rich when you drop the throttle. I'd take it to a shop with a dyno and have them tune the part throttle maps better.
