If I remember right, friday is track night. And yea its a 1/4 mile.

Saturday its just a GTG hangout type of deal. But some of the guys will go to their abandoned road in the middle of BFE and burn up some tires, and maybe run a race or two if whoever wants to race them is willing to put money down.

And the track doesn't open until nighttime, i believe. If I go out saturday i'll find out.

no letting the bakersfield PD own a bunch of hot rod stangs. nuh-uh.

I was speaking of locals to my neck of the woods. But yeah...I know a couple guys out that way.

Lol out there in bfe, the PD doesn't have jurisdiction. Its actually funny, the sheriffs show up every once in a while, just one of them, and then points a spotlight and tells everyone to leave.

I dunno, I stopped going out there, but these guys around here still do.

If you guys do come out, watch out for the Evos on 32 lbs of boost

could you imagine a all wheel drive mustang with 18lbs of boost. That would be a fun ride, but a very weird mustang.

one of my old evo driver buddies said stock was 21lbs in an evo. He's running 30lbs now.

When you gotta run 30lbs to keep up, buy a bigger power plant to start with.

Yeah, and thats ALOT of boost. 30lbs would be an INSANE ride on a mustang. There was the 6cyl running 30 lbs. and running high 9's. Wonder what the evo is running at 30lbs?

Lmao at 30 lbs they run...low 11s high 10s. And that includes bolt ons.

But yea.the two guys running that much around here kinda like to hustle newer guys at the track.

30lbs in a v8 is called a drag car. I've only heard of 1 street car set up for that much boost to a v8 and he was running a TT mach... 1000hp. IIRC MM&FF called the feature "Sideways at any Speed". Car was sick. don't think it's really street worthy but I guess the owner does and that's all that matters.

I'm coming home soon, so i have to get in gear when i get back to have everything finished come January. Cams, 3800 stall converter, trans cooler, long tubes, high flow catted H pipe, hood, wing, rear bumper, paint job, rims/tires, valve covers, shifter, plus small interior stuff...lol...i kinda ruined my christmas and birthday for the next 5 years. I got everything i wanted off of this deployment...i'm glad my wife shares my hobby!! Or i wouldnt have been able to get HALF of tose parts
