I know this prolly isn't the right Room for this question, but i have a slight problem. I have the cdc shaker hood scoop, well, with my s/c on now the cold air shaker scoop is "semi" functional, by blowing in air from top and keeping my engine li'l cooler, thats all it does right now. My hood is making indention on my plastic shaker assembly, doesn't look good at all. I would like to somehow put a hood scoop, a functional one, that is turned back towards the cabin to let hot engine air escape. I already have the square hole in my hood. So does anybody have any ideas. Thanks. email me if you have any ideas. or i will check back here soon.

 

I'm pretty sure there is no reverse hood scoop. Nor would it really do anything for you. It'd be better to have a hood scoop, and force the air over the hood then under the car. I can go into negative/positive pressure, but just take it for what it is.

You're best bet is to do an extractor hood like the GT500 hood, as those can actually make use of the positive pressure being forced across the car, just like my 04 Cobra hood. A scoop defeats that purpose, as the air is going around it not just across it.
