Mac sells cheap ones. They ran me like $60. I wish I would have bought some that allowed side exhaust but other than that they are fine and stiffened things up. Probably not as much as full length subs but oh well.

www.blueovalindustries.com also has some cheap subs too

There are some on ebay that sell for a decent price 65 dollars shipped. These are powder coated red, but the seller offers them in blue or black also.

Bought Mine on ebay from blueovalindustries.com they have a site too. Ebay for $39 plus shipping. Mine fit fine. If u need them welded up drop me a line since u live close. Do not bother with bolt on ones.

How are the ebay ones? Did they make an improvement at all? Full length?

No they arent full length, but blue oval has full lengths the cheapest of anywhere ive seen. Mine were Raw steel. Im sure made by them in house. Ive made my own in the past. Its not hard if you have a Metal supply shop close. These fit nice. I actually bought some Plate steel from my Local Lowes Home store and strenthened them more by welding them to the frame, them welding some steel to double up my weld attactchments. Painted them up and u would think they were factory parts!!!

These Blue oval ones also bolt and come with hardware and attach to the 2 seat bolts that are under the car. Get sub connectors with the crossbars that attach. This makes the car stronger laterally, not just front to back. Some sub connectors dont have the seat mounts.

I also strengthened up my torque boxes and welded some steel plates to them. and to the upper control arm mounts. And also welded up a lot of the unibody seams instead of the "few" tack welds. I put the new control arms in at the same time.

You would be surprised of the few tack welds holding your upper control arm mounts. I took the seats and carpet up and welded some steel plate on the inside of the body.

Yes it did make an improvement on the car. No Creaks at all on launches anymore, or on cornering. My car came with a front strut tower brace. Ive put sub connectors in every mustang ive had. And its always on my list. Even if your not launching with slicks or hard driving. The will make your car last a lot longer. And make sure everything stays put. As cheap as they are im amazed they arent in everyones sig.

If welding these yourself or having someone do it for you. Be very careful on the passanger side. You will be welding very close to the fuel lines. And remember you will be heating up the thin unibody fast, dont catch your carpet on fire!! Welding them are a must!! Dont waste your time or money on bolt ons. Most Exhaust shops will weld these on for you cheap if you dont know anyone to weld them for you or dont have a welder.

Another bonus is a easy jacking point for jacking up your car!!
