Default Racing seats,,WTB

Pleas help me in my quest for seats. No, I can not afford brand new Sparco's or Recaro's,,although I wish I could.

Here's my predicament. Wife has allowed me $600 out of tax money for seats and I want to replace my stock 95 tan cloth seats. I have looked all over and I really wish I could afford the listed seats in above comment.
They need to be 4pt. harness accessable. Im looking for black cloth with nice side and leg bolsters. I dont want the APC seats if I can help it. They look nice and everything, but IMO they seem kinda cheap. I found some used Corbeau's on another stang site, but I seen to be getting the runaround when it comes to shipping/price. Im looking for a more race orientated seat w/harness capability. Recline is not needed seeing as how this is not a daily driver. I DO plan on putting the Maximum Motorsports cage in the car as well. Any help from my fellow stangers will be greatly appreciated. :toothy10:

dude you don't need any of that stuff your mods are not that big to need all that safety stuff. If you ran low 12's or high 11's you might want some of that but with 216 HP you don't need that much safety stuff.

Dude. Thanks for slamming me. I guess you assumed I was a dedicated hard core drag racer and wanted the stuff for safety issues, but assumed that with only 216hp i cant go fast. Geeez, not only do you not know what I have planned for the car, or what my final objectives are, but you decided to go ahead and slam me anyway. Well I'll explain. I am working on the interior and am going from tan to black. I want to get rid of the stock seats and put in nicer seats that offer me better comfort AND safety. I also want them for a more visual impact. Is there anything wrong w/that? No!! So if ya dont have seats for sale why'd you even chime in? Thnx for nothing. :angry5:

He didnt slam you cause his post made no sense at all, he slammed himself . The only real safety equipment he even mentioned was the cage. On top of that it doesnt matter how fast your going, its all about being safe anyway. As for seats, Id recomend the Kirkeys sinse it isnt your dd. This might help you, http://forums.modulardepot.com/searc...der=descending

I believe Corbeau still makes the Forza seat, so look into those. I think they are like 200 bucks a piece and if you look, some places sell them with free shipping. Look at www.corbeau.com. Good luck man, be safe.

Thnx Matt. After finding nothing decent on Stangnet or Corral (was trying to save myself some $) I decided to just buy brand new. My Corbeau Forza's will be here next week. $220 a piece plus $80 a piece for brackets. I love tax return time!!!!! :blob8:
