It's a .577 Tyrannosaur. I've shot more than enough rounds in calibres around that power level to never want to do so without a sparkling fuckin reason.
I have .460's and a .600 Nitro and a .444 marlin and a .458win and they all plain ass suck to carry, feed, shoot or clean up after. Anymore I'm happy to just peddle back a bit and use a properly selected .30 or .33 cal bullet down for pretty much anything from dikdik to dinosaurs. I have a friend that goes on Safari every year. He likes to use a 4 bore slug gun as a trainer for his .460 Weatherby. If you know what that calibre designation means you'll know instantly why he's not the least bit shy about shooting 460's like I shoot 22's. And yeah... seen it. Year after year. It's nice to see the guy at the end man up and handle it like it should be.

Look for hot dry places in Africa.
For those that care to read up: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dik_dik

no rifle of any substantial power is good for a followup shot that could be called fast. My .243 autoloader has about as manageable recoil as you can get and it still takes a second or two to get the crosshairs back on the meat after a standing shot on game. Course... I've never had to take a 2nd shot on an animal I actually hit.
