getting closer with the Mustang build, finally got the engine built, or at least the short-block. putting this thing together has not been easy, lots of new parts to try to figure out how they go together.. Mustang chassis is looking very good, the rear suspension and rear end are completed, (still with the stock-type 3-link).

should have this crazed beast running 9's by january...

Not impressed even if it runs 7 second quarter mile im not impressed......

LSX? in a mustang? Its kinda like getting it on with your best friends girlfriend...Not something you should do that will impress many people.

I guess it isn't the flavor of many peoples' taste, but it goes fast and looks great. I agree in that it isn't really a mustang anymore, but putting a camry front end on a monte carlo doesn't make it a toyota either.

wow now GM has 2 good looking cars the mustang and the corvette, i dont care if that car can do 220mph if its not a ford engine im not driving it!

why dont you just put a honda Vtec in it for your next.

How dare they do someting like that.... They took a better engine and put it into a mustang.... only one solution Kill the heretic:2gunsfiring1:
*sarcasm*

seriously now,
people do crazy engine swaps all the time give em a brake. There is no rule that everyone must approach mustang modification in the same way otherwise everyone would have the same car and we would all be bored. I say +1 for the heretic way to try somthing no one has done before and be outside the box.

What I don't get is, why not just put it in a Camaro, or something GM-built?

StreetRacer 02-07-2008 08:47 AM

if they used a 1967 camaro body i would say thats kinda cool...as is.......yaaaaaaawn
