they treat it like it's something special or new to put a mullet motor in a mustang. It's tacky and senseless but nothing new or special. snore.

omg i cant believe they put a crappy chevy motor in a mustang. That should be illegal. There have been protests started about this on other boards. could have made the same power or more with a modular engine. everybody tries to drop the lsx in every type of random car and it usually ends up in a big failure anyways.

LS7 > Mod Motor by far. I kinda dont like the mixed Ford/Chevy deals but whatever works. I wouldnt be upset if Ford got with GM to replace the new mustang mod motor with a 400hp LS7.

Do "professionals" know what cars they are actually dealing with? First, I saw a couple of weeks ago, a clip of that English guy that does all those car reviews, running around a track comparing a Mustang car to a Mustang horse and the horse wins, where he's saying it's a 300HP GT when it's not, and now the voice over on this intro video says they're taking a 2006 GT and adding a GM LSX engine to it. But it's not a GT either. At 22 seconds they show the front grille; Non-GT. At 24 seconds they show the passenger fender; No GT emblem. At 39 seconds they again show the passenger fender and again no GT emblem. The wheels; Non GT. Then at 1 minute and 38 seconds, the voice over says, We began by removing the standard V6 engine.

Even the 06 shelby is putting 500hp with 5.4 liters, 32 valves, and forced induction. And the vette is still just 16v. imagine what it'd do with 32v, DOHC, and a twinscrew supercharger at 8 psi....hoooly smokes.

At least they can go to both chevy and ford shows to compete for trophies.
