Steeda clutch adjuster kit

sup, im thinking of ordering this to fix the rattle, but does anyone know if you can lower the pedal with it too? the stock pedal height is too high, i wish it was even with the brake

it doesnt adjust height just where the culutch grabs.

Maybe you want to rais the gas pedal so all the pedals are even and you can do some heal toe shifting?

Here is what I did http://www.allfordmustangs.com/photo...segaspedal.JPG

It evens all the pedals out and you'll grow on it and if feels a lot more comfortable if it's a 5 spd, Ford just drops the gas so you can't pull the throttle linkage out of the throttle, good failsafe but i want more, and plus you get a more full throw even though they say flooring it is open throttle, but I felt a better reaction time when I ddi this mod. :)

Be careful with this mod boys.....In some cases it opens the blade on your TB too much, and actually hurts you....

technically it cant. because soon as you press the gas you have open throttle this mod is more for 5 spds for more comfortable shifting.

Technically it can, and did.
There was a write up about this a few months ago...some people hyperextended the blade in the throttle body ...think about it, you are pulling the throttle cable longer than it was supposed to be from factory...again, be advised of this mod..

Mustangdewd3.8 12-02-2004 11:29 AM

you can rip out the throttle linkage slamming it a lot, just sounds liek someoen slammed the gas way way too hard

If you want mod it so that it stops right at the floor so you don't push it too far so the floor will stop you before you rip out the throttle linkage

all Im saying is not to do it to slam the gas longer, but for heal toe shifting which is virtually impossible to do with Ford config.

BTW can ya link me to that, I'd liek to read up on what happened ^^

A couple guys over at 3.8mustang did that mod and did the full 1" or whatever. They hit the gas and broke the linkage and were left stranded. If your going to do it, dont do the full 1".
