What do you guys think?

So I have a large sum of money in my possession, around $450 to be exact, and yes I still owe, but thats besides the point. I was thinking about getting the rear saleen bumper and the sidescoops with the money, but what do you guys think, what would you recommend, ect.

95bstallion 01-26-2006 06:19 PM

Getting the bumper and painting it will take you above that number unless you have a person that is good that does **** for cheap.

Yea it will cost you alot more than that too complete that for sure.

MattJ 01-26-2006 07:11 PM

Put it towards nitrous.

Milos 01-26-2006 07:28 PM

Well I mean does the car actually need to be completed? Does it look good right now?

I was gonna put it at about $450 to paint and assemble. What about mufflers, go with the Super-40's or Magnaflows?

Mattj i have noticed your taking a liking to the v6 section ::p

Milos 01-27-2006 06:19 AM

I'm not all about preformance, I'm about looks, sound, ect. So I think I might just get the rear bumper and start saving to get it painted

i agree with mattj, if you really want to end that fued with you and the captain of the football team or whatever just get some nitrous. his may be stick but he'd have no chance at keeping up.

Milos 01-27-2006 05:40 PM

Well I had a deal with my dad, the rims for my birthday the tires for my grades (B baby, thats all ::p )

I'm gonna go ahead and order the rest of the body work, and then I'll look into the nitrous. Hey thanks for the suggestions guys, you know I don't make any purchases without a overwhelming majority :punk:

and why's that?

Milos 01-27-2006 05:47 PM

I'm a follower... I tend to do modifications that only the majority of people agree with... I like to conform to the social scene, not be an outcast =P

BTW what nitrous setup is suggested?

I checked into having a front bumper installed and painted and it was right around $400.Plus the cost of the bumper.

Magnaflow's!!

Milos 01-27-2006 07:58 PM

$400 sounds about right, alrighty then, sounds good.. thanks again lance, an additional +2

Lances03SVT 01-27-2006 08:02 PM

No problem!!

95bstallion 01-28-2006 09:38 AM

install the **** yourself it will save you soo much time and money. Come on people.....Lance atleast tell me you installed your hood by yourself right?

Lances03SVT 01-28-2006 10:02 AM

Everything except the hood pin's.

No way was I cutting into a $600 hood. And they had to mod the location of the pin's because of the thickness of the hood.

Milos 01-28-2006 10:07 AM

I don't know how to paint and I have no idea how to dismantle a bumper, let alone put one back on...

Hood pins are a breeze...i was nervous to about the whole thing. I had my dad do it, but it didnt cost me a cent. The bumpers though really arent that hard to do. Taking them off is a breeze. Lining up the brackets to rivet them on is the tuff part. milos you really wont know how tuff it is tell you give it a shot.

bumper is a small project... wait til the day you get a stick and have to change out a clutch... and that isnt even a big project... cars arent that hard to work on... the were 100x easy to work on in the 60s and back

Milos 01-28-2006 01:52 PM

I'm saying maybe, MAYBE i'd take a crack at putting on the bumper... but the paint job? I do'nt know man..

yeh... um... i didnt think you would try that... i mean... what would you use? Rustoleum? ha ha ha...

no, when you get something like that painted you go to a shop... unless you have a spray gun paint the vent room and the rest of the kit'n'kabootle

trust me an bstallion... you most def cant handle the swap

Big Yellow 01-28-2006 02:07 PM
