Well that's not true all of the time.
You could always just take out your isolaters. Prepare for lovely road noise though.

Really? Funny because I was referring to how some springs have a dead coil that can be cut for a bit more of a drop without affecting spring rate... I agree you should do things the right way, but what the right way is depends on what you are doing and what you have currently. If your planning on cutting stock springs then no you shouldn't you could. It's not that big of a deal really your spring rate will change obviously, but if done right and not to an extreme level it can and has been done millions of times.

lol yeah man I just waited to lower mind after I got rims, I mean roads here in Tally are rediculous so when i get htem over break i'ma be ready to battle them again.
That being said Don't buy cheap isht! That and down the road when you try and show off to other people, true gear heads won't be impressed and just realize you Ebay'd your CAI, or went the cheapest root. I mean I coulda spent 500 bucks on some half *** rims and tires but then I would be embaressed everytime I was around someone who knew their isht...

That's true lol. I was just trying to point out that some springs do have a dead coil that can be cut without having problems. For example my c springs. But then again I did pay the $120 or so to get them and do it right. I don't recommend cutting stockers personally.

I've got Dropzone drag launch springs and they arent all that great for everyday driving but racing....it hooks alot better than my boys mustang on eibach sportlines. only downfall is draging the underside everywhere.
