with the x-pipe and slp GT catback it will all bolt right up no welding needed. as this replaces everything after the stock manifolds.

ahh sry one more thing, xpipe or h pipe? the h pipe i found is a good 70$ more, any real differnce? i read your thing explaining exhausts spike and said the h pipe gives a throatier sound, and any real differnce in power? cuz if the x pipe make me sound like a stupid civic or soemthin, then ide def pay the extra couple buycks for the hpipe

power wise they are close, the Xpipe will give a few more Hp up top (like 3) the hpipe will give more power down low. both are great performance add on's. I have never heard a v6 with a x-pipe so i would say just do it if you dont liek just sell it on ebay but more than lily you will love it.

I have a 2003 3.8 Mustang with a Pypes catted X-pipe and flowmaster 40 series mufflers and i think it sounds real good for a V6. It has a kinda low rumble from the flowmasters while idling and then the loud more high pitch x-pipe sound when around 4000RPMs. So I would go with the X-pipe sense you will be getting a little more power.
