Default Good Exhaust Setup???

Does this sound like a good setup for a 1995 V6???

-MAC long tube headers
-MAC H pipe with Cats.
-Flowmaster American Thunder CB??? or should i stick with a MAC cat-back?

Bassani X Pipe SLP Loudmouth catback and Bassani midtube headers if you plan on lowering your stand so it doesn't scrape everytime you try to go up a driveway or over a speed bump.

Okay, here's where I start. I'm also looking at some dual exhaust for my mothers 99 V6. I've seen the Flowmaster, Magnaflow and the Steeda for the V6. What are some options that I should look at and what suprises would I come across? What I'm trying to avoid is, is having the exhaust installed and finding out that I needed to add something to the engine or a chip to adjust for more airflow. We already added a K&N CAI which sounds nice. Any direction on what to read up on would help. If someone lives in the Dallas or Houston Texas area that knows who could "properly" install the pipes, let me know.

Thx

bassani doesn't make v6 exhaust unless someone can point me in the right direction. as best I can tell from my research, mac seems to be the only company to make a complete exhaust sytem for v6s. jba also has v6 headers, but no other supporting exhaust parts. I assume that a v8 midpipe will not fit on a v6, otherwise they would just be the same part and would not be listed specifically for v8s. plus mac's midpipe carries a different part number than its v8 counterpart. I was also comtemplating the mac setup, from headers all the way back. Would be nice if someone had some clips though. mac is obviously selling these parts or they wouldnt keep offering them, but no one seems to have any clips or know of anyone with this setup. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yeah its cool, i figured that was what happened. just wanted to clear that up. My fiance took over my 95 v6 when I got my GT and now wants to make it even louder and try to gain a little power. I currently have weldin flowmasters on it, with the y pipe cut off and pipes run from the cats out, with no crossover. it really rumbles until you wind it up, then its v6 colors shine through. would be nice to hear the mac setup or at least get some feedback from someone.

You can buy adapters to make anything fit.
