Does anyone have a Tuned V6?

I was just wondering if anyone here had a tunned v6 and what they gained from it. Also, whether or not they had to change to premium gas or were able to tune it just using 87?

had to change to 91+ octane gas.

you can be tuned for both, but 93 will have the most gains. and my freinds blown v6 went from 250 to 309hp at the rear wheels. You are N/a and wont see gains like that, more in the 8-10 hp rang. my other freind has a auto v6 with SCT tune it also and he dropped 2 tenths in teh 1/4 with it and i belive he gained a 1.5mph.

ehh, see with the blown engine i could see the reason cuz your gaining 60 hp, but i mean all that just for 10 horses...unless i could get someone to tune it for free or something probably not something i'd spend time persuing...also don't blowers come with a tuner?

How about innercoolers, i heard you get get them installed on non blown/turbo engines. Neone know?

????? What ????? Intercoolers are used for turbo or Blown engines ro reduce the intake air temperature before entering the TB....I have no clue what you were trying to say up there....even after beating myself with a plastic bottle.

A tune after you get a few more mods is a great performance add on. 8-10 doenst sound liek much it it all make syou go faster. besides how much HP do you think the CAi gave you? answer it wasnt 8-10 hp.

and they normaly come with FMU's which alter the cars AIR fuel by changing the vaccum to the FPR. thats gay ****. we swapped 42# injectors and had a 255lph pump added and tuned with justin at VMP.
