Help with Control Module

I recently purchased a VENOM 400 Control Module (not from this site) and installed it in my 2000 3.8l V6 Mustang. Since the installation, the RPM's have dropped from over 1000 to around 500 at idle. Before when shifting into neutral going down the road, the RPM's stayed up around 1500 or more, now it drops to 500. I hope I didn't wreck my stock ECU. What might be wrong, and is it safe to drive my car? I did have the battery disconnected during installation if that messed up the ECU or something. If anyone needs more information just let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if I installed it wrong, if you want pictures of the wires and stuff just let me know.

I have a Venom-1000 which is one of their nitrous systems. I have no experience with these control modules and have no idea what they are even for.

Call venom. That is what I would do.

All of our vehicles idle around 1000 rpms

When I'm driving down the road and put it in neutral to coast to a stop sign the head lights dim so I know something is goofy
