Bullit suspension on a v6?

Anyone know how this would work out? I need a new suspension this coming spring and I am thinking of stepping it up because I still am not loved enough by insurance companies to get a GT. I was looking at packages on stangmods

Umm for $750 no thanks. The $1000 coilover kit would be a way better way to go if you're spending that much.

I say get some H&R springs (or whatever you feel has the best drop and feel) and some Bilsteins and call it a day. Come out around $500-600 and be much better than the bullit suspension.

Yeah, the bullitt kit used to be a good deal. But if they are going for $750, forget it. You can piece together your own spring/dampner combo for that much or a little more for some quality parts. Don't go too low, don't cheap out on the shocks and struts.

Stangmods has it for 580 but thats still pretty high I bought mine for 450 a couple years ago

My biggest worry is lowering it too much. Not just speedbumps, the roads here are terrible. Duluth literally has the worst roads I have driven on anywhere. And I don't want to spend too much because I can't afford too much.

Here is the same kit for under $500 but I have no experience with the company

I say, get something like the Steeda springs that are progressive and lower it just a little bit.

Then get some good shocks/struts and call it a day. I understand the lowering too much, but with anything from FRPP you're going to overpay IMO. I have the FR3 handling pack on my car and the struts are almost already gone, very shitty quality for an expensive kit.

If it was me I'd go with some coilovers. They're expensive yes, but you can adjust ride height whenever you want to as long as you can jack up the car, and from what I've rode in they feel a lot better in ride quality.

bullit kit is kinda crap.

If you want an upgrade, talk to me via PM about your budget.
