Default trunk problem

alright so i installed 2 subs and 2 amps in my car this past weekend. while doing the install i tried to pop the trunk by pressing the button on the key chain thing didn't work..tried the button in the glove compartment..didn't work, so wtf is up? i hear it clicking when i press it to open but nothing happens. Did I blow the fuse while doing all this ? i disconnected the battery also just to see if that had something to do with it. Anybody have an answer to this?
It opens up when you put the key in so its just the two buttons aren't opening it.

The only thing that I can think of is a fuse is blown or something along those lines but I have never heard of that before that is weird.

Can you open it manually, with the key?

Did you splice into any of those wires in the trunk?

Or is the box preventing the two mounts from moving to allow the trunk to open without being forced open?

not into any trunk wires, just the rear deck speaker wires, and im not sure if the box is preventing it because its not making the noise when it opens up, just a real faint click

It's probably this. You have 12s, correct? I'm assuming your box is HUGE?

...at least I THINK I recall you mentioning this somewhere...

^^ I would say blaze is right because I wouldn't put a huge box in my trunk because I would think that it would make it hard to open the trunk plus less space.

Open your trunk press the button, the solenoid is on the latch. Did you hear the solenoid click? It should be real loud especially if you have the trunk open. You need to see if its an electrical problem or physical problem with the trunk. Did it work correctly before you did all this work?

I would say it has to be somewhere in the trunk. You need to look in all the areas that you where wiring up stuff and routing wires. Where did you hook up your amps positive, negative and remote to?
