Best exhaust
Havnt been on in awile and i have yet another question.I was going to buy the MAC duals but i bought rims instead. So i am going to save up money for an exhaust system and wondered what i should get. I have a 2000 V6 and i have already read the exhaust sticky but want some opinions. What is the best sounding exhaust for mine?
Thanks |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RATn...layer_embedded I wouldn't go to the extent of getting long tubes ect, end up having a CEL on all the time, or having to get a tuner to eliminate it, if you live in a smog state, then its going to suck when you have to swap headers again for smog, ect. Flowmasters are SHIT, period. Restrictive on a v6 they sound like ass, ect. But hey thats you. Personally, borla, bassani, and magnaflow put out very nice mufflers. |
If you like a deep sound, go with Borla. I bought the Borla dual Cat-Back exhaust system for my '08 v6 Mustang and it sounds great. Yes, it's kind of expensive, but I wouldn't have bought any other kind.

It's a good thing you're a girl.

I thought people were allowed to voice their own opinions. Yes, this may have been from a few months ago, but if I want to voice my opinion on something, I will. |

You don't have to yell at me. I was just trying to say no matter how old something is, and when you talk about it, myself or anyone should be able to voice there opinion whenever they want. |

A set of magnaflows generally suffice though. Why people are still hell bent on buying an entire cat back system or exhaust system in general is beyond me... the price of having one made in a shop is still considerably less AND you don't necessarily have to dick around with the fitment ect. |
if you arent going supercharged just weld a flowmaster 40 or a magnaflow muffler, put a chambered muffler on a v6 and dump it right there or keep the turn down on the back, dont kick it up of it will sound like the junky cars on gta san andreas. just put one muffler on unless u reallly need flow for power adders such as N20, Turbo, S/C. Other than that u dont need anything more for a v6.

really all you need for a loud sound is flowmaster with a turndown that is how mine is set up and it sounds really good for a v6.

Flowmasters are overplayed, and no they don't sound good they're just the most popular. Bassani and Borla make way better kits. |
Mac O/R H pipe, GT flowmaster 40's, o2 ext. kit. = ftw, trust me. YOUTUBE.COM
|
Stay away from flowmasters. They blow.
|
Yep piss on some damn Flowmasters. Mine are sittin in my garage collecting dust, and for all i care, let em rot.
