catback vs single flowmaster swap

anyone have a 94-98 v6 or any year for that matter and installed this catback system from american muscle or any dual exhaust catback system. is it worth the 300 bucks? do you actually feel any difference and does it make a deep sounding tone? i am thinking about one of these but if it is more for looks than performance and sound i would rather slap a flowmaster muffler on in place of my stock and save 200 bucks.

yea, i was kinda diggin those over the ones on am anyway. but if i could replace my oem with a flowmaster that sounds great for about a hundred is it worth the extra 200 for the dual exhaust? the sound is more what i am interested in if it is only a 1-2 horsepower gain it isn't worth the extra 200 to me. but if you can feel the difference when you drive it, i am willing to keep saving and get the dual.

I would honestly save for the dual. Its not going to make an impact in performance but it sure looks nicer than the single rusted downward pointing exhaust tip. Flowmaster is overdone and in my opinion really doesn't sound that great. Then I've seen some with one stainless steel exhaust tip and that really looks bad on the mustangs prior to 05

just take it to a muffler shop manye and have them do a custom exhaust system i think its cheap cuz i paid about 500 bucks for the 2.5" w/high flow cats and x pipe and mufflers and then i took it to a muffler shop and spent another 200 bucks having them install it so just take it to a muffler shop and ask them if u can have a dual exhaust w/xipie or hpipe etc...
