can anyone link me the places to get the correct speedometer gear to replace the stock one when you get aftermarket rear end gears?

any Ford dealer (like us
)but you'll need to know what gear (# of teeth) is in the trans now and we can adjust up to a 21 tooth, each tooth is @9 miles per hour

thanks randy, i just need to find out which gear works with 3:73 diff gears...where would i go to find out?

well, we can prob get you close wth a DOOZ-17271-B 21 tooth speedo gear, depending on rear tire size, it still might be off 9mph or-so....

if i swap with a GT 8.8 rear from a '98 with, say, 3.55's, how close could i get to getting a correct speedo with the right gear?

well, wth 3.55's we can get pretty damn close, you can also look into a Speed Cal, which will adjust for just about all gear ratios and tire sizes
