ok as yall know i have a XCal 3 tuner n on one of the settings it says that you can turn the egr valve on or off. So should i leave it on or off. This is wat ive read on Wikipedia "In most modern engines, disabling the EGR system will cause the computer to display a check engine light. In almost all cases, a disabled EGR system will cause the car to fail an emissions test, and may cause the EGR passages in the cylinder head and intake manifold to become blocked with carbon deposits, necessitating extensive engine disassembly for cleaning."
Is this true? So should i turn my egr valve off or leave it on?

Leave it on. I wouldn't really go around tweaking with that tuner that much... it sounds like you might do something you don't really want to.
Just in case you needed an explanation.. the EGR valve helps to recirculate your exhaust back through the combustion chamber. It helps to burn the fuel more efficiently. If your EGR valve goes bad... you'll probably lose gas mileage.. and your car will run noticeably more sluggish.

Turning it off is not needed it wont make you faster. Leave it on and enjoy the better mileage you get with it. its only working at part throttle so at WOT its closed and doesnt hurt your performance so leave it on and alone.
