spark plug how to....??

ok, ive found the v8 how to.... but that really is not a whole lot of help...
does anyone have/can link to a good, detailed pictoral on how to replace my spark plugs.... ive only done it on honda 4 bangers..... yea, suuuuuupppppeeeerrrrrr easy job there. I see where the COP hooks into the plugs, just cant see an easy to get to, remove, or re-install them; looks like ill have to remove the intake for sure, the driver side just looks like a PITA!
Also, I'm trying to find the dam fuel filter..... my dads sable is just under the passenger side rear door, can see it as plain as day.... I cant seem to spot it by just lying down beside my car.... I've got the new filter, just need to find the one on my car! lol i feel like a total newb here; I've rebuilt a few supras, celicas, MR2s, civics, accords, 240s, sunfires, and even worked on a Nissan Quest and yet i cant find the dam fuel filter and figure out how to replace the plugs!

i used a haynes manual for my honda and was able to pull the axle, raise the engine, drop the tranny and replace the clutch all on my own, and untill then the hardest thing i had done was a spring swap.

ill probabally just dive in and "get er done"
as for SSSTANG..... while i would generally agree with you, I have no experience working with this engine. Inline engines are totally different beasts and while ive had my fair share of "under hood" time, I have not worked on a single domestic other than my dads sable 3.0 duratec..... you had to remove the IM to get to the plugs.
I was mostly looking for some pointers or a simple "its not as bad as it looks" comment.

Wrong. The guy has probably never changed spark plugs before (Edit: on his v6) and doesn't want to fugg it up. You can't ban him from working on his car because he wasn't born with the spark plug changing instinct. I would jump on someone for taking their car to a shop to have the plugs changed rather than trying to learn how to do it on his own.

The fuel filter is in the rear. Get under the car from the rear and look up. Should be right there.

ok, yea the fuel filter is on the fuel tank facing the center of the car. It can be reached without jacking up the car. Just crawl under there and look up. I am not sure but I think mine is held in place with a bracket and it has metal fuel lines on either end. Also, I just changed the plugs on my car and I don't care what anybody says I felt a little difference. It might be because they havent been changed in a while but It definately performed better. the plugs on the driver's side are fairly easy to change except for the farthest one back which requires a failry small hand to reach around the brake master cylinder. (the master cylinder is the round black object that butts up to the fire wall on the driver's side.) The other side is a little harder because you need to remove the air intake. Mine was aftermarket so it was pretty easy. After the air assembly is removed, it's really easy to change the plugs on the passenger's side. Don't worry about it just follow the plug wires and make sure you don't get them mixed up. It is a great thing to learn to do because if you pay someone to do it that is just plain stupid. Eh well I didn't need a forum or a haynes manual to figure it out....
And I'm sure 95% of the other males on earth who changed their plugs for the very first time / work on their vehicles didn't either....

And yes everything is super easy on I4's... My friend was complaining about doing his dc sport header swap on his 99 civic si and it ended up taking me all of 20min, Wish everything was that easy

I hope i can figure it out. I am gonna be changing spark plugs soon on my moms truck, and it has 16 spark plugs.

I agree, I'm sure it will be not a problem, I just wanted to make sure it didnt require removing anything (other than intake which i figured)... like i said.... sable :-(

header on a civ? cmon, doesnt get much easier! lol :-D
