yes, they are not functional, and no, you do not want to attempt to make them functional either.

For the price of the hood scoops and sidescoops and to get them painted, you could probably find youself a nice cobra hood or something.

personally, i dont like the way the mustang V6 hoods look. i think they look much much beetter even with a fake hoodscoop, it just looks more burly, i think for dropped the ball on the hoods.

look around you might find a good deal on a Cobra R hood, or a 2 inch cowl hood which look damn good.

I certainly wouldnt take a fake scoop OFF of a GT because i wouldnt want a my GT looking like a V6, like Ziggs car. He knows i think it looks boring, but he aint out to impress anyone so what i think doesent really matter.

But i certainly wouldnt put a fake scoop on the v6 hood. I think you would be better off buying a different hood.

And yah, the mach 1 shakers ARE badass and they CAN be done.

Here is the install I did on mine.

damn that is pretty sweet. yea i thought about installing a shaker on mine but i cant find that specific hood that fits the shaker, but then on top of that i really dont have much experience under the hood.

yea I see that now. Like I said when I see a mustang the last thing I would ever look at is its side scoops

Do you use a dremel to make modifications to stock bumpers? i only ask because when i get my dual exhaust put on i dont want to buy a gt bumper and paint it and install it. id rather just cut two half circles and lift the tips into the stock bumper. This can be done with a dremel?

It can be done yeah, but itll look like shit most likly. Ive seen it done and it was all choopy and just looks tacky. You dont really need the cut outs anyways. The tips can sit right under the stock bumper. Unless you absolutly need the cutouts. Most 6'ers get the gt bumper if their stock is damaged or a gt wants to trade them.

315's are about 2 inches wider than the 275's.
