anyone heard a 99-04 v6 with a loudmouth I setup? I've heard that it can be ricey, raspy, or throaty from like 60 different sources but I've never actually heard it. If anyone out there has a sound clip or a set up like this or similiar to this, let me know. I was thinking of going H pipe with a set of SLP Loudmouth I's

Thank you for your quick reply. I had previously seen both of those videos on Youtube but I wasnt sure if they had anything else done to the exhaust. I was simply looking at getting the v6 adapter, hanger kit and SLP Loudmouth 1 setup from American Muscle and doing it myself.

Thank you

imo SLP only sounds good on V8. I'm going with MAC sounds good on V6 from what ppl say on here keep the cats without them your car will sound raspy

Hey, thanks alot for your input. Yea, New Jersey is crazy with emissions so I need to keep the cats lol.

Pssh

Theirs a Mach 1 down here with LM's (not sure on I or II) but it sounds bad ass.

crzypny232 04-02-2008 01:51 PM

Well the Mach 1 has two more cylinders than I do lol so of course its going to sound awsome. The only reason i ask is that I dont want to do something to the car that might negatively impact it performance wise. I am referring to a lack of backpressure on the engine.
