sooo i have all the "show" now and no go at all. first performance mod you would do?(under 600$$) was thinking 4.10's and a T-lock and i'd get them installed and get the tuner later on. or springs but i dont want to have to pay 1,000 for shocks and springs and c/c plates. i could do the c/c plates and springs but i wouldnt have the money for the shocks/struts right now.

i'd go w/the 4.10's and t-lok. i think it cost me around $800 for everything. or u could start piecing together ur shock/strut/spring stuff.

igniton, exhaust, tuner, new plugs and wires, intake, that should be about close to 600 and make a huge diffrence unless you have 225 rear tires your not gonna need a tlock yet but hes right gears DO help alot

i dont think i plan on gettign a V8 for years or until my stang isnt driveable lol. im happy with my 6'er, it gets looks and their isnt anyone around here gonna tell a diff. between a GT and a 6'er. plus i dont plan on racing or anything. so i'll keep my goodlooking sixer, low insurance, and good mpg. i wanna build my sixer up here and there... suspension, power and so on. im happy with the visuals...i wanna get the the other stuff now.

I'd go with the gears route also. It was the "single" (gears, t-lock, tuner) best performance mod I made my to sixxer.

If you can install the gears yourself, and you buy the nitrous used.....yes. Otherwise, mor elike $1000 for gears and nitrous if you go with something like a ZEX.

Yeah, but I seriously doubt most of these guy would want to touch a gear install. And a decent wet kit with a rpm activated window switch is gonna be right at 600$. Plus I would rather do a tlok than gears any day.

I would not let an inexperenced person install gears. You'll proabably end up paying more in the end for what ever gets screwed up. Not saying it can't be done, but I wouldn't install gears on my own car in a million days. Also, I should put this in the for sale section, but I have a dry zex kit that I have been wanting to sell. Just in case you do decide to get some spray. I bought it used and never used it.
