Your not going to loose any top speed as long as you get your speedometer recalibrated. I had no problem hiting 115 or so and bouncing on the speed limiter with my 4.10 gears. About the highway driving, you will run at a higher rpm so if you have aftermarket exhaust it can get very annoying. If you have stock exhaust it wont be too bad.
