knocking

Thumbs up knocking

my car makes a knocking noise when i start it when its cold. anyone know whats going with it?

not enough oil, or the oil weight is too heavy.

i have the same problem with my. i'm using Mobil 1 5W-30 with SuperSyn.

i using what ever jiffy lube gave me. the lower price one. had no money when i got an oil change. but im never going back there. they suck.

use valvaline if you are using regular and not synthetic. That's what i have in my mustang right now and am due for an oil change for my engine and my supercharger.

ya sounds like oil problems.

is it just when you start it up then it goes away?

I'd go to a reputable place that doesn't hire high school kids and have your oil changed again ASAP. I bet they didn't put enough in AND used the wrong type.

it does go away. i just had enough to get a basic oil change when i got it.

yeah im deff going some where else.

use either castorol syntec or Q power ferrari reccomends q power so it must be pretty damn good mobil 1 is really good 2 chevy voids warrantys on corvettes if mobil 1 isnt used change your oil yourself it easy and way cheaper
