ok so im tired of the one tire fire.....im CERTAIN its been posted previously but i wasnt around then. so....sorry guys, but can you help me out again?
what do i do, how much will it cost, and how drastically will it improve my launch. i know its somethin to do with the t bar but im more of an audio person or an engine kinda guy. im the person tha just wants the power. ill give it to someone else for a day to get all that power down to the wheels. ANYWAYS!!!! can some1 gimme a play by play and is it really worth it to change the differential?(i think its the differential no?) |

Ok, you need to get a T-lock, it will allow both tires to spin together when going in a straight line. Also since you rear end would be in pieces get 3.73 or 4.10 gears, these are what will actually help your launches. 4.10's can easily help you cut .5 off your q/t mile time. Also you will need a tuner to recalibrate your computer for the new gear ratio. if you are a manual you can go cheap with a speed cal, but if you do a full tuner it offers alot of other things, and can give you a power gain as well.

Looking at close to 1000$ for T-lock/gears/installation kit/oil and installation fees.

umm...save for the power pack. The power pack will give you hp and will be a much better mod, the gears and tlock you will want even more after that but will not have as signifigant affect.

that would just worsen his "one tire fire" problem though. one wheel cant deliver the juice to the ground properly.
