Default help with glow gauge instal

I just received that glow gauge for my dash and took a look at the online instructions.. they seem ok, it didnt come with any in the box...and online ones dont say anything about the switch...where is the switch supposed to go that turns it blue or green? I havent yet taken my dash off to look at how to wire this... but yea if anyone has some straight forward stuff about the wiring and placement of switch that would be nice cuz im am a rookie at messing with cars

also.. anyone know why when I slowly start out from a stop i get a light rattle sound from the engine.. like an out of oil type of sound..? it goes away once I start moving or push on the gas pedal harder.. but is really anoying at slow turns and starting out..

thanks

You can mount the switch anywhere within reach but its something that you are going to set and never touch again. I would hide it somewhere out of sight but reachable in the event you want to change color but a I doubt you will.

The sound you are talking about could be anything you have to be more specific.

when i had my glow gauges i mounted the switch and dial under the dash just above where your right leg goes. i found a spot that i could reach with my hand and it was out of sight.

i dont know to get any more specific with the sound.. I only hear it when I slowly start out.. it goes away once I speed up and it doesnt make the sound at idle.

what about taking the e brake handle off? I cant find instructions how to change it out.
