h&r or eibach or steeda lowering springs

Default h&r or eibach or steeda lowering springs

what do you guys think are the best lowering spring for a daily driver i cant have the car to low because there are some bad roads ware i live?

h&r ss or eibach are good. If you do them though you should replace your shocks, struts and cc plates

the drop puts a lot more stress on the stock stuff you can get away without doing it but sooner or later you will have to its basically just preventive maintenance and the cc plates fix your allignment

H&R would be my choice...cause it was. H&R Race springs...if you can handle it...cause they sure can.

I would get the H&R SS or the eibach sportline's. Get which ever you can get cheaper. Either one will improve the stance of your car a lot. I would still upgrade the rest of your suspension otherwise its kind of half assing it. There are some sites that offer a suspension package that includes shocks & struts with the eibach sportline's if you find that I would get that and then some MM CC plates

If you want a real nice drop and don't want to have to get CC plates and all the other thing's you will need with the SS or the Sportlines go with the H&R Sport's.I had them on my GT and loved them.

I'd stick with H&R no matter what.

I went with Eibach pro kit with my v6 mustang and then 6 months later got the CC plates. The biggest reason why I went with the CC plates was that I also installed a K-member kit. My car is not a daily driving. I usually only drive it once a week.

im going to do every thing but how much should i let it drop 2inchs or 1.5inchs im going to all so get 17inch rims some time so i don't want the car to low.

I believe my mustang already has 17 inch rims on them, so I will try and take a pic tonight or early tomorrow and show you what the Eibach pro kit look like with 17in rims.

some of the cars are way to low and we have some bad roads ware i live so i would be able to even drive a car that low on them. what springs are on those cars?

I realized that my rims are 16's and not 17's. I actually looking at getting 17's in the next month or two. But here are my eibach pro kit pics with 16's rims. At least that will give you a close idea about the clearance.

I can't believe your roads are that bad... do you see corvette driving in your area? those are lowered out of the factory. An inch and a half shouldn't make a difference as in hitting the ground. I mean ya gotta be careful when pulling into parking spots that have curbs but other than that I can't see a road in such bad condition that it would effect your car. I mean you would have to have a ton of randomly uneven roads

EDIT: To be safe just get the Eibach Pro its only 1-1.5" drop instead of the 2" drop

kjbuck are you springs 1.5inches? i have the same rims lol.and the roods i dive on i never saw a corvette on some of them but thats because of the huge pot holes.

Yes they are. I wish I had some before pics, but I don't. Go with the pro kit. I dont think you will have any problems. Where I work, they get installed about 10 brand new speed bumps in the parking lot. I need to really slow down over them, but so far I have not had any problems.

ok i will i don't think im going to be doing it for some time i want to get 4.10s be for i do that.
