I have a new 2007 mustang v6 and I have been punching the gas from light to light, etc... and when I have the windows down I feel waves of heat coming into the car, it is also 80's around here in the middle of the day.The heat comes from under the car, should I put in like a Redline stuff in it?

what temp is the car running at when this happens? I always feel heat from every car when standing next to it, comming from under it.

you're abusing the hell out of it but it's not gunna catch fire. It's showing you how hard you're flogging it by letting you feel the burn. That's all coming off your motor.
If you plan to continue driving it to death, then yes... synthetic oils in all 3 spots will help with longevity. Redline, Amsoil, Royal Purple, Mobile 1 are all good options. I like Redline and Royal Purple... Guess I'm easily swayed by odd colors. |

really abusing it? It is a mustang, aren't they meant to be pushed. Also the needle says it is in the middle of temp. Have you tried Redline water wetter? I go to college in a cold area would that affect the car when warming up.

IMO I say a stock mustang wont take alot of hammering without breaking or wearing something out pretty quick.
