It will lower your mpg on the highway but might increase your mpg on the streets. That's assuming you don't drive the car hard from light to light, which with 4.10's is very hard not to do:salook: |
If you plan to drive 90mph on the highway yes, if you go 60-75mph the mpg damage isnt that huge.

what else does the 4.10 help with

can i put this 4.10 in a 2000 mustang v6 auto
as long as it's for a 7.5" ford rear end, it should fit.
how do i check if its a 7.5?
it'll say if you buy it online for instance. if u go to AM's gear section, u'll see some gears say for a v8 (8.8" rear) or a v6 (7.5" rear), other then that, not too sure, i think u can measure the size of the ring, but not positive.
now i need to find a place that has 4.10s for a 7.5 v6
