revs are staying high
 

its kinda doing it all the time now, but when i put it in neutral or even just keep the clutch in the revs start to drop real slow and then either stay in between 2000-1500, and even when its under 1500 and then i put the clutch in it will even rise up to around 1500 ... anything i can do??

something is not right... it should only high idle when it's cold or thinks there's a good reason and 2K is way too high for it to be a proper case of that. I'm betting that you have a sticky IAC, dirty MAF or a significant but not major vacuum leak. Any changes to the car that immediately preceeded the high idle condition?

well it had started on the last engine i had a little, and when that engine went i was expecting it to stop when we put a new 3.8 in it but its the same problem ... i originally thought it was just from maybe driving it a little too hard but it happened on the first drive after getting it back with the new engine
